Jax Code Academy now offers both Online Web Developer Bootcamp and Online Advanced Web Developer Bootcamp. These bootcamps are a hybrid of online and in-person. The in-person part is optional and you can complete this bootcamp 100% online. Online Bootcamps are timed to coincide with in-person Bootcamps so you will be learning the same material and coding the same assignments. The online version is for those who can’t attend in person. It is intensive and will require approximately 30 hours per week of commitment. There are no set hours. Adapt it to your schedule.
You will be given a login to our online JaxWebEd platform. You will also be assigned a Jax Code Teaching Assistant to help you via email, phone, Skype, and in-person. On the first day of class you can start working through each lesson of the syllabus. Each lesson contains a topic with explanations, examples, video(s) that demonstrates the material for that lesson, and assignments. Your Teaching Assistant will track your progress and make sure you does not fall behind. They will review your work daily, in addition to providing guidance and instruction. You are also welcome on campus at UNF at anytime to attend class, work on assignments, or get help.
Our Online Web Developer Bootcamp is designed to teach you the skills needed to be fully qualified and employed as a web developer. Since this class is geared to beginners, we start with an introduction to web development and help you set up your coding environment. You will engage in both individual and group projects, and take part in workshops set up to help prepare you for real-world coding challenges and future job interviews. You will learn to build data-base driven websites, and we will cover a variety of other applications and concepts. Our extensive curriculum includes, but is not limited to:
|JQuery||Intro to Python|
|Git||Model, View, Controller (MVC)|
