Spend 8 weeks immersed in web development at the University of North Florida!
You will engage in both individual and group projects, and take part in workshops set up to help prepare you for real-world coding challenges and future job interviews. We cover other applications and concepts, including but in no way limited to Photoshop/Pixlr basics, web hosting, operating systems (ex. Linux), SFTP, networks, software maintenance, Wordpress, Drupal, Introduction to Python, HIPAA, encryption, and eCommerce.
Bootcamp starts each day at 9am on the third floor of the student union building. Students are in class from 9am to 11am (1st 4 weeks) or 9am to 1pm (last 4 weeks). After class time students find a place on campus, alone or in groups, to work on projects. The University of North Florida has lots of places to study like the Student Union Building, Starbucks, food courts, and outdoor areas. WIFI is available campus wide so you can move about as you wish. During class time your instructor will start the day by going over the previous day’s assignments and introducing new material. Then students will work through new material and work on their projects until the end of class time. Your instructor and teaching assistants will help you during this “work-shop” time to make sure you are on the right track and not falling behind.
