Starting June 3, 2019 Jax Code Academy will offer online bootcamps in Web Development and Advanced Web Development. Local students will have the option of also attending class on the University of North Florida.
Dr. Fitzmeyer is the founder and lead instructor at Jax Code Academy. He is a physician trained in clinical informatics, having completed an NRSA Research Post-doc Fellowship at Boston Medical Center and an Advanced Medical Informatics Post-doc Fellowship at the Veterans Administration Boston Healthcare System. He is an expert in Web Development and Health IT with over 35 years of experience.
He has built hundreds of web-based applications for clients including MIT, UF Medical School, Treatment Scores, UNF, Boston College, Boston Children's Museum, Houghton Mifflin (Curious George and The Polar Express), ZDNet, WGBH/PBS and NOVA.
